Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Applications, the Systems Architect will lead the development of technology solutions for Advanced RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO). The Systems Architect is a problem solver responsible for evaluating an organization's business needs and determining how IT can support those needs leveraging software applications, automation tools, or other technologies.  Additionally, this position will provide positive leadership to develop solutions that will improve candidate, client, operations, and sales team experiences.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and document solutions with our RPO team leaders and stakeholders to improve the overall technical architecture and business processes
  • Own the assessment of potential and current solutions, providing detailed analysis, provide leadership with ongoing support and insight related to talent acquisition budgeting, governance, and management.
  • Promote pragmatic innovation by championing value-based, risk-managed investments
  • Build expertise in Advanced RPOs solutions and the technology needed to optimize them.
  • Act as the thought partner with the IT Leadership team on issues relating to technology strategy related to RPO initiatives.
  • Maintain creativity and innovation by staying on top of industry and technological trends. Build and maintain a thorough knowledge base of industry-related technology, industry trends, and general IT best practices. Consult the business on potential means of innovating through technological advancement to create value differentiation.
  • Ensure that technology solutions are applied consistently with Advanced RPO's values.
  • Interface with stakeholders to ensure buy-in of systems (function and design) before and during onboarding or development.
  • Solution development will include business requirements workshops, requirements analysis, solution scope and design, resource alignment, proposed delivery source mix, technology stack, UAT, scalability, and management of risks/assumptions.
  • Communicate the benefits, costs, and risks of projects to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated willingness and passion for working in a hands-on manner with complex technical challenges
  • Expertise at the application of technology to implement automation and integration technologies
  • Be a strategic thinker with excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Perform detailed market, technical, and operational analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Proven success in building a technology strategy driven by business initiatives and presenting the solution to executives and colleagues
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically to capitalize on unstructured, ambiguous business situations
  • Demonstrated success in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to reference specific examples of having led digital transformation projects from idea to productized solution
  • Energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy: Knowing when to push an agenda and when to let a situation develop, rest, or advance
  • Highly developed communication skills. Ability to be comfortable working with executives. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Passion, humility, integrity, credibility, and a commitment to Advanced RPO's values
  • Working knowledge of ATS/HR technology platforms with user interfaces/capabilities
  • Preferred knowledge of recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) business processes and related systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 5-years experience in enterprise business application support, development, project management, data analysis and management, and business process design and analysis
