The Digital Marketing Manager plans, coordinates, and executes on digital brand-building activities for Advanced Group businesses. 


  • Execute an integrated Social Media Strategy. Build community size, create and execute content strategy, increase engagement, analyze social media effectiveness, and adjust strategy accordingly. Target trends and tactics. Stay abreast of social media innovations and apply relevant innovations so Advanced achieves and maintains a leadership position in social media.
  • Maximize website effectiveness. Participate in development; manage website updates, website optimization, and SEO strategies. Ensure websites remain “fresh” and aligned with desired brands. Monitor competitor websites and share competitive developments.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of inbound marketing campaigns through HubSpot.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Write blogs for AG businesses.
  • Reporting, measurement, feedback processes (i.e. Google Analytics, digital marketing analytics, campaign analysis summaries, etc.). Gather and report on marketing-related data.
  • Work with agencies/consultants/vendors on various marketing tactics, products, and services.
  • Special event planning and execution.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.



  • BA or BS degree in marketing or business.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years post-college experience in a significant marketing role within a service industry
  • Excellent writing skills. 
  • Experience with high-volume email marketing.  Must have experience directly managing email campaigns from planning through execution and analysis.  Experience with EMS (Constant Contact, MailChimp or similar).
  • Hands-on experience in successfully executing on social media strategies and tactics. Strong knowledge within the social media space. Can show track record of success in building community size, fostering engagement, creating strong content, and tracking/analyzing our social media ROI.
  • Beginner/intermediate experience in WordPress.
  • Intermediate experience in Google Analytics.
  • Prior experience executing inbound marketing campaigns in HubSpot
  • Knowledge around SEO, tracking, keyword research, using keywords to improve search results, etc. 
  • Strong technology aptitude. Leverages technology personally and is also able to leverage technology organizationally to improve business results.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and in-group presentation situations.
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills, possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Working knowledge of design software (Adobe Illustrator or similar)
  • Strong experience with PowerPoint (or similar)
  • Meeting/event planning experience
  • Graphic design skills
  • Self-motivated to constantly look for ways to improve marketing performance and effectiveness
  • Natural inclination towards driving projects to completion.
  • Hunger for learning.  Desire to learn about the staffing industry and general marketing trends and innovations.
  • Energetic, motivating and positive personal demeanor.
  • Exceptional time management skills. Able to balance many competing priorities with grace.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work well with individuals in various parts of the company and at various levels within the organization.
