  • Overview

    The Payroll Coordinator will ensure accurate processing of a basic volume weekly temporary payroll and provide precise and timely financial reporting with exceptional service to clients, associates, and internal team.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform daily payroll department operations; Manage payroll mailbox workflow, answer 1st level assistance phone calls and emails within 24 hours
    • Manage payroll workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are prepared and processed accurately and timely
    • Reconcile payroll data prior to finalizing and sending bank files in Great Plains
    • Preparation of reports, metrics, analyzing data, and identifying solutions
    • Review and approve talent expense reimbursement requests

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
    • 1-2 years preferred experience in general accounting, customer service, or payroll related field
    • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
    • Preferred knowledge of payroll best practices
    • Knowledge of federal and state regulations
    • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
    • Strong PC skills including high proficiency in Excel
    • Strong attention to detail
    • High degree of professionalism
    • Ability to communicate with various levels of management
    • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
    • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
    • Excellent customer service
    • Ability to work under demanding deadlines
