    Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY

    • Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of conference and corporate event activities for Advanced Group companies including but not limited to Advanced Clinical, Advanced Resources, Advanced RPO, WunderLand Group, and Advanced Group.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Coordinate conferences, trade shows, and other business-related events from start to finish. Activities include but are not limited to attendee registration, lodging, transportation, booth reservation, and venue selection.
    • Develop and maintain event calendar and planning process.
    • Conduct market research to identify event opportunities and propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.
    • Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders (internal and external) throughout event planning.
    • Coordinate logistics for exhibit materials pre– and post-event.
    • Build and adhere to event budget to avoid project overruns.
    • Manage promotional orders for event and business purposes.
    • Assist with conference and venue contract negotiations.
    • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems related to events, including day-of support.
    • Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations to track key performance areas and identify items to work on for future events.
    • Collaborate with Marketing to promote and publicize events.
    • Assist with managing on-site production for events as necessary.
    • Perform other tasks as the company may from time-to-time reasonably request.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    1. BA or BS degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field.
    2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an event planner or project management role.
    3. Familiarity with event registration software (Eventbrite).
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in person and by phone.
    5. Ability to build and maintain business relationships with a diverse network of individuals and vendors.
    6. Excellent organization and time management skills.
    7. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
    8. Self-motivated with strong problem solving skills and a high expectation for quality.
    9. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (or similar).
    10. Experience with writing, photography, and/or social media is a plus.

    TRAVEL

    • Up to 10% of travel for event support and education.
